[Grammar] Neither/nor

Would you please help me to use construction "neither/nor". Now I'm writing essay about damaged forest: "Unfortunately, there are no ways to avoid severe consequences of some disasters and there are no tools to predict them". Here the two statements with "no". How should the sentence be written correctly?

I guess, you think that my question is a simle cheating! That's wrong! I always use English textbooks while writing an essay (for example, Practical English Usage by Michael Swan and a couple of web-sites). Sometimes, I'm not sure about grammar and usage of words. www.usingenglish.com is the third source of information. This is the main reason why I am here. My tutor completely believes me. So, there is nothing bad in asking somebody who knows English perfectly!

Is it correct?

It's OK. You could change the word order and say neither are there ways....
