There is no question that the government knew about the deal.
(This sentence comes from Longman Dictionary. )
Now I ran across a fill-in question:
It is no longer a question ______ (whether, that) man can land on the moon.(The given answer is 'that'.)
I thought 'whether' would be the correct choice. And I searched 'the web' on reference.com, typing in 'It is no longer a question whether' and got 243 results for it. But when I typed in 'It is no longer a question that' I got only 19 results for this phrase. Then which is the right answer?
Could I ask native English teachers to help me? Thank you very much.
