Here I have some doubts. Help me, please, to correct the mistakes, if there are some. The text is to be archaic:

ARDEYA
We are grateful for your help. We would be dead if…
MSTISLAV
(icily)
No words are needed. We all here took an oath to die protecting those who need to be protected… and one of those boys delivered his oath…

He fulfilled his oath, I think.

But there are some logic problems. Must they die? Or simply protect them, with their lives as necessary?

Because if he's a really good protector and keeps them both alive until they die of old age, he would have failed to fulfill his oath as you have written it.

Well, I thought that if a soldier promissed to give away his life and he actually did this after all, he fulfilled his promiss. But I understand your concern and I agree that the abstract sounds a little bit... ambiguous or how to say... it gives ground for speculations.

I've fixed the typos in my original, by the way.
