I would like to discuss palpable in 1."His mistake was palpable." I mark this sentence as 1.

Of this will change from context to contex but please think that most basic ones i.e appearing first to the mind.

Which of the following sentences would be in the same sense with the 1 for the most basic contexts?

2. "His mistake was noticeable."

3. "
His mistake was tangible."

Thank you.

Where did you come across this sentence?

I do not remember. I think it's a dictionary example. It was just located in my notes.

Thank you.

1 and 2 have sort of the same meaning but can vary depending on the context.
