Is the expression of "of them" in the following sentence grammatically correct?
"She adopted three children, of them two are orphan."

"Of them" can be used, but the word order is incorrect.

She adopted three children. Two of them are orphans.
She adopted three children - two of them are orphans.

OR

She adopted three children, of whom two are orphans.
