Dear teachers, Could you please say whether these sentences sound natural or not.

On condition that you had come to class on time, I would have allowed you to go inside.
I would have watched this movie with you, as long as you had watched it with me.

Can I use phrase such as "On condition that", "providing that" etc. with unreal conditions?

Best regards.

Dear teachers, could you please [STRIKE]say[/STRIKE] tell me whether these sentences sound natural or not?

On condition that you had come to class on time, I would have allowed you to go inside. :cross: You need "If" not "On condition that".
I would have watched this movie with you, as long as you had watched it with me. :cross: This just doesn't make sense at all.

Can I use phrase such as "On condition that", "providing that" etc. with unreal conditions? I can't think of a way, no.

Best regards.

See above.
