Chandler: Is this really your long term plan, for me to run interference? Because I could get a job any day now.

Ross: You do appear right on the cusp of something. Come on man, I'm sure he'll lose interest in a week or two, but for now can you please just do this for me?

May I know what Ross mean in this context ?

You do appear right on the cusp of something.

Chandler is unemployed. He feels that he'll find a job soon, so he says, "I could get a job any day now, to which Ross replies, "You do appear (to be) right on the cusp (on the verge) of (finding) something (a job).

To be on the cusp is to be on the edge of or at the point of or just about to act on or act out something.
