Hi,

I cannot understand the difference between 'I'm on the road' and 'I'm on the way.' For example, 'I am on the way to the office and I'm on the road to the office' is the same in meaning?

'I'm on the road'

That can mean I am driving right now, or I am travelling.

I'm on the road to the office'

That's not natural.
