Is this one correct:
1-He was shouting to be let out.

Would it mean that he was shouting something like "Let me out! Let me out!", or that he was just making a disturbance to be let out (he could be shouting insults for instance or anything else)?

That is perfectly correct. He was shouting, and what he was shouting is that he wanted to be let out.

Your answers are very good indeed. As for my questions, they become "bad" when I manage to confuse myself. Then even the obvious becomes problematic.
