Hello.

Does "only the overlap areas" in the bolded sentence mean "only the overlap areas should be washed with full pressure"?

Am I right or wrong?

Washing of the underwater area must proceed using 200 bar (2800 Psi) from top to bottom (up, down ↓↓↓↓) and not ‘up down up’ or lancing ‘up down up’ (↓↑↓↑). Extra care must be taken to ensure that the existing surface is not damaged and so the distance and pressure should be adjusted accordingly – this may mean that the pressure used is as low as 100 bar (1400 Psi). The newly coated areas should not be washed with full pressure as this will damage the fresh paint, only the overlap areas. All debris must be washed off the vessel and not be allowed to dry on the surface.
