I am available for work from 8pm onwards.

Is the above sentence correct?

(I want to say I'm free to work from 8 pm all the way to the end of the day)

Yes, but it's only four hours to the end of the day.

There's varied opinion on this but I feel teachers need to take a position. For what it's worth, I always teach to at least put a space after the number. Why wouldn't there be? (The dots I can live without, to be quite honest.)
