Opportunities
Opportunities seems unfair for everybody, because someone always sighes that he just need an opportunity to be success, but someone realizes his life ways accompanied by the opportunities.
Why the different opions remained in those two kinds of people? the reason is simple, the first kind of person always wait for his dream come true automatically and he do not want to consider whether some situation is his best opportuny and do not try to do something; the second kind of people always try their best to do everything and find the opportunities during their work. For example, one vacant position, of course, it will be obtained by the person meeting the requirements.
So, it is coming to clear that in fact opportunities are fair for everybody, the key is whether you are ready for it. Try your best and do not sigh, your dream will come true.

Thomas Edison quoted, "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work."

"Oppurtunity is not for lazybones and sleepyheads. It is for people who spend their time working and studying --- people who seek oppurtunity."

Overall - loose, sturdy trousers, usually with a bib or biblike piece to which shoulder straps are attached, originally worn over other trousers to protect them, as by factory workers or farmers.

Look at this : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overalls

You have to look at the sentence as a whole. The "dressed in overalls" part is not meant to be taken literally. The expression means that opportunity might be unattractive because it seems like work.

Thanks, Ronbee,
I am still perplexed that what "seems like work" means, in Chinese, "like work" means that like somebody's work or like working. Could you explain it?
Thanks

That's it! The activity might involve labor, and that is an unattractive prospect to many people. (See Blouen's post.)
