Is this sentence correct:
1-His major source of inspiration comes from Paris in the Seventies.

I would have said "the Paris of the Seventies".
Comapre:
2-He was in love with the Paris of the Seventies.
with:
3-He was in love with Paris in the Seventies.

I think it is okay, but your revision would be a definite improvement.
