Hi everyone. Does the word "paternizing" exist in the English language? I mean, a quick Google search and I've been able to find several pages where such word is used with a meaning which is exactly what I understand from it, like "Don't talk to me with that paternizing tone", or (an actual example I've found on the web): "[SIZE=-1]Your deaming/paternizing attitude of conservatives is what is the issue is". Politics aside, does this word really exist? I mean, I've looked it up on all online dictionaries that I know of (well, the free ones, anyway ;) and such word is nowhere to be found. I've checked Merriam-Webster, Dictionary.com, AskOxford and Longman. Nothing! What's the scoop? Thanks!
