[Grammar] "Perfoms good" or "performs well"?

It is very hard to believe that you saw somebody write "This brand performs good this year." You understand that good is an adjective and well is an adverb. So you are right: the sentence requires well rather than good.
You also need to consider the tense of the verb.
This brand performs well this year. Incorrect
This brand is performing well this year. Correct, and commonly used when speaking of current events.
This brand has been performing well this year. Correct and commonly used when speaking of past events but preparing to talk about future events.
This brand has performed well this year. Correct and frequently used when talking about future plans for the brand.
