What comes to your mind after hearing words 'Performing Arts'?

Performing Arts is one of the faculties in Univerisites. What do you think about it? (I mean the lessons)

Is it a Drama, Acting, and Theatre studies? or a Music studies?

Anyone can tell me?

My understanding is that it is a general term covering music, dance and drama in all their various forms. Both practical and theoretical.

What do you mean by 'Music'? Singing? or just Music theater?

Everything: Singing, Instrumental; solo or in groups. Any form of music that can be performed.

Is it true that if we want to join a 'Performing Arts' faculty in a university, we need to get involved in a audition first?
