Can anyone here play piano?

I think playing piano is fun and exciting, but unluckly, I can't. :-(

I'd like to learn it if I had the chance.

Anyway, do you think males look weird if they play piano?

I play the piano, and I enjoy it very much. I now have a portable electronic keyboard instead of a piano. Why would a man look weird playing the piano? At one time, all the famous composers and pianists were male. And most of your rock and roll keyboardists took lessons on the piano before they started playing with the electronic variety.

Well, is it easy to learn piano?
Did you learn by yourself?

I taught myself the notes on the keyboard myself when I was a young child, and could play some simple tunes. I started taking formal lessons when I was seven years old. It is fairly easy to learn to play "basic" songs (if that makes any sense), that is, playing the melody with the right hand and chords with the left hand. Learning to play elaborate classical tunes with the left hand accompanyment takes a lot more time and practice.

I used to play the keyboards in our church. I was not so good with that though. I just learned it by myself and we just do some widowing of songs. I quit it finding it was not my best interest. I transferred to another department then.
