Hi there,
I have a rectangular box which has of course 6 sides. I want to ask my maid to place it on its side. Can I say like these?

Place it upright.
Place it on its left/ right side.

Place it on its front/back/left side/right side.

"left side / right side" will be identified in relation to the front of the box facing towards you.
