Hello.
The speaker is a country boy. I am wondering what "play the pinnies" means. Please help!


For once in my life I can go to the movies and play the pinnies and not get muddy boots the whole time.

I haven't met it, though I imagine it may be something to do with pinafores - contrasting a life of hard work on the land ('muddy boots') with a life of casual sex.
