Hi

Is it OK to say 'You played yesterday very well' instead of 'You played very well yesterday'?

Thanks.

It would be understood but, as Piscean said, it's not natural. I suggest you stick with:

- You played very well yesterday.
- Yesterday, you played very well.

'You played yesterday very well'

The way you have written this it sounds like "yesterday" is a noun representing the name of a person or game.

You played baseball very well. :tick:

You played very well baseball. :cross:
