Should I write - We're off to a great start or We're off with a great start?

Please help.

Usually it would be "We're off to a great start".

Aside from when you can't speak English properly ... when would it NOT be "We're off to a great start"?

Since you ask, I can envision a sports announcer saying something of the kind. "Yep, Larry. After that 85-yard return of the opening kickoff, the Bears are off with a great start to this game."

Of course, sports announcers are liable to say most anything.
