The plan is to purchase a mid range SLR camera which will provide professional results. It will require three lenses to cover all eventualities: a macro lens for close up work, a mid range lens for portraiture and a telescopic lens for distant subjects. Ideally these three lenses would cover all the necessary focal lengths.

This basic equipment would enable me to take acceptable images under all conditions.
