1. Upon inspection, one piece found damaged. We informed the supplier, but
they says that it was a display item and no other piece in stock.

2. On contacting the supplier, they says that the client has noticed these
damages and singed quality confirmation documents.

Upon inspection, one piece was found to be damaged. We informed the supplier, but they say that it was a display item and that they have no more in stock.

2. On contacting the supplier, we were informed that the client has noted the damage and signed the quality confirmation documents.

:?: " one piece was found damaged " is ok? Is not good as " to be damaged" ?
Please.

In this specific context [checking new goods on receipt at a warehouse/shop], "the item was found to be/have been damaged" is the terminology that will be used. It allows for the item to have been damaged by some accident in transit.
