I want to write a letter to our accounts manager to deduct one of our employees salary due to his missing during the duty hours. Please see below and correct it.

Sir,
Yesterday, at 11am we had sent Mr... to deliver a vehicle to the customer but he did not reach till 2:30pm to the customer location. The customer was waiting for the vehicle and we received lot of call from the customer asking his whereabouts. We also had made several calls to him in his mobile but he did not answer. Finally he reached at at 3pm and delivered the vehicle.
He failed to furnish a legitimate reason about his missing during the duty hours therefore, kindly deduct one day salary from this employee as a token punishment.

See above. There is an inconsistency. In the first paragraph, you said he didn't reach the customer until 2.30, but in the second paragraph, you said he delivered the vehicle at 3pm. Which one was it? Ensure consistency.
