Is there something wrong with the sentence " I think that people's views and principles nowadays doesn't have a ground to stand on."? Please help me out thanks.

I am by no means an expert but I think the sentence is a little clumsy. Perhaps this would be better: I think that nowadays people's views and principles don't have ground to stand on.
If the sentence is used in a formal piece of writing, I would not use the omissive 'don't'; do not is preferable. Another point to consider is that,again, depending on the the formality of the piece 'ground to stand on' is too colloquial.Instead you could talk about views and principles not having a sound basis. Also, it would be helpful to mention in the sentence what topic the views and principles relate to.

Usually we don't have a leg to stand on.
" ...people's views and principles..." is plural and your verb is singular.
