I did not agreed what you told me last week for the view of salary revision. You say because someone salary is low; therefore she will have more revision? I think the percentage for the salary revision is not based on the salary, it should depend the workload; capable and this staff is suitable for the company etc. Otherwise, all the management peoples are no need to adjust their salary, but some people is not to pay any improvement on their perform and have salary revision, right? Seems this arrangement will not fair to some people, do you think so?

I don't agree with what you said last week for the view of salary revision. You said because her salary is low, then is she going to have a more amount of salary? I think some percentages of the salary revision that are not based on the salary should depend on the workload and capability so that it would be suitable for the company and etc. Otherwise, all the managers have no need to adjust their salary, but some of them don't expect any improvement on their perform however they've got the salary revision, too. Is this right? It seems that the arrangement will not be fair to some people, will be?

Hope to be useful!

Hi Zoe, I have been asked to assist, by someone who was unable to understand the previous post.

As always, as a Brit, but not a teacher, I would rephrase as follows:

I don't agree with your comment, last week, about salary adjustments.

You said that, because someone's salary is low, they should have a higher increase?

I believe that the percentage salary increase shouldn't be based on the salary alone. It should also depend the workload that the person can handle, their capability and their suitability to the company's needs etc.

Otherwise, whilst management may not receive any increase, others may, without any improvement in their performance.

It seems that this arrangement would be unfair to some people. Don't you agree?

I've tried to keep as close as I could to my understanding of your original text. I've deleted the word "True", as it duplicates "Don't you agree?".

Hope this helps. Any queries, let me know.

Regards
