Please look at the sentence below. It is taken from WSJ. Please explain me why "are" is omitted between "investors" and "nervous" and why "that" is ommited after "about".
"Investors nervous about the strength of the recovery had knocked Ford's shares down to less than $10 before this announcement, from almost $14.50 in April."
