I written some sentences myself but I am not completely sure whether they are right or wrong, so please have a look at them:

He bellowed with such force that the lights flickered.

He did not elabroate he just bellowed to the that they should go. They all looked bemused not knowing what to do.

Their friendship had been most neglibile.

What do you say?

Ehm thanks but why have you put that Explain in those [ brackets. Is it because it is wrong to use elabroate or what?

It is my suggestion of a possibly better word. "Elaborate" is not quite right in this context. It is up to you to decide which will be better for your purpose = check each in your dictionary!
