Q. Good sense of humour is an important quality in a person. Do you agree or disagree? Explain using specific reasons and examples.

Although most people are aware about the well known saying that 'Laughter is the best medicine', people struggle a lot to even smile in their hard times. I totally agree with the laid motif that ‘Good sense of humor is one of the most important human trait because it helps a person to enjoy the life in all times’. I believe this due to various reasons.

The first reason why I believe that sense of humor is very important is the fact that lively people are welcomed by everyone. They rejuvenates the atmosphere with their cheerful attitude and this helps others to forget their grieves as well. Nobody adores a person who always has a long face. For example, one of my friends, once, was very upset. I went to her, shared her problem and made fun about the same problem. After 15 minutes, she stopped crying and went with me to the dance floor to enjoy. It is good to share problems but one should not be depressed about the problems of life all the time.

Secondly, a person who has a good sense of humor can come out of critical or embarrassing situations easily. This is extremely necessary because every individual faces such situations at some point of time and if he does not know how to avoid such situations, they become an object of laughter for others. People with good sense of humor can overcome such sarcastic situations with ease.

However, some may say that such people are not very serious about their lives or certain critical issues. But a very serious person who never portrays such humorous behavior have greater chances of being physically ill when problems occur and show signs of depression, cardiac arrest, blood pressure and more. I believe it is better to laugh even in such bad situations rather than increasing the severities.

To sum up, I would say that sense of humor is a very important quality in a person as it relaxes not only that person but also the people near him. It helps in reducing the amount of sadness and the chances of medical illnesses and also brings a breeze of happiness, laughter and joy for that individual as well as for the society as a whole.

I would give your paper a 4/5! You support your thesis with compelling examples. Of course, you're missing a number of definite articles and commas, but that doesn't detract from your paper's point.

Wonderful job. Perhaps you can elaborate further by making the paragraphs longer. Personally, I found your paper too short. I like long papers ;-)
