Hello

A person asked me once to translate a poem of his. Here is my rendering of it:



Spent with dreams

Waiting to find

If dreams can be

Else than pain

Or a damned life

Yet I will dance

And play a rhyme

To draw a face

For Dream so nice

I’ll break all shackles

Locks and cuffs

With merriest songs

And melodies

I am newbie and have tried my best to translate it...




I have spent my time with the dreams and now I am waiting to find whether my dreams give me pain or hopeless life. I will break all the chains and locks of this world with my melodious music and rhythms.

It seems I was not clear in my post. I wanted to say that the original poem was in Arabic and the above was my translation of the Arabic original poem.
