Hello
I'd like to know which preposition is appropriate in the following sentences.

#1 I'm poor ( at / with ) computers.
#2 I'm poor ( at / with ) math.

It would be great if I could get some comment.

Hi Soup,
that is true (in general) what you said. To be poor at computers, however, means that you are poor in the subject area of computer. Does such a subject exist?:shock:

Therefore I would be inclined to say I am poor with computers (poor at working with computers) rather than I am poor at computers. I am good with people, with children and so on. Never at people, at children.
I am poor at maths is ok.:up:
do you agree with me?

My native intuition tells me that 'poor with computers' could work, yes. :up:
