When you exercise, a warm-up activity helps you to warm-up your muscles in order to get your body and heart ready for exercising. In terms of listening and reading exercises, how would you explain the role of a warm-up activity now? :)

All the best,

Some use discussion questions as a warm-up for a text to get people using the vocab that they might encounter. The general idea is to have the effect described by Casiopea. ;-)
