I have not included the names of the agents who had left the company.

Can I use "had" in the above context? If yes, please explain.

I have not included the names of the agents who had left the company during a period of time that extended up to a past time that the speaker and listener know about.

I have not included the names of the agents who have left the company, up to and including today's date. For example.

I have not included the names of the agents who had left the company before 2010. For example.
