I wonder whether I could express the following statement.
1. I am feeling much hurt since my beau has left me.

Although it is not in my grammar book, I ask the question out of curiosity. :)

I feel the present perfect is a better choice.
I have been feeling sad since he broke up with me.
I have been feeling quite a bit of pain in my knee since I fell on the ice.

(Or I have felt sad, I have been in pain -- but still present perfect.)
