film's good=one's good
if so, it will use "am thinking"
film's good=something is good
if so, it will use "think"

The progressive verb "am thinking" denotes a thinking process. In this case "think" is correct because it is an opinion.

Hi
yes, simple present
We can use this rule:
simple past: I + mind verb
present continuos: I am + (mind verb+ING)
:)
Good luck :B-fly:

Hi!
I voted for "I think the film's good". But I believe it is possible to use both case due "I think" is a present simple and "I am thinking" a present progressive. So "I think" it can be undestanding as an opinion, and "I am thinking" is an extended action.

it should be mentioned that ''I am thinking'' in this case(to have an opinion) isn't very natural other than in some colloq cases as it serves as a stative verb which can't be used in continuous form.

I am thinking film is good--------- it's wrong:-(
I think the film is good ----------correct

Hi, here is 'The French',

English teachers don't think like you. With verbs like think you can't see the action, so you can't use the continuous form.

I believe that the continuous form it's better to emphasis the progression of the act.

Perhaps an American and an English teachers can settle this grammar point.

Have a nice day, 'Le Français'.

The right sentence is:

"I think the film is good"

because the verb think is a non-action verb.
