I am going to conduct a private tutorial to a boy in 2 year old. He can recognise the letters from A to Z but not able to talk much even in his mother tongue. Any suggestion of the curriculum, technique, ways of teaching? I don't know what & how should I start up with in that one-hour session.

Your kind reply will be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

I agree.

My four-year old Czech honorary grandson is gradually picking up some English, but that's a result of spending several hours with me one day a week. I play with him and talk to him in English (I cannot hold conversations in Czech) and he generally gets the idea of what I am saying, frequently with the help of gesture and mime, but I have made no attempt until recently to teach him. By the time he was three, he could sing a couple of English nursery rhymes, but understand what they mean only because I show him pictures. I have recently started 'teaching' him the English names of everyday things, and he seems happy to say them.
