Hi there,
Could you proofread the following sentences?

When I put some soap on my hair and started to wash it, the water was turned slowly and finally turned off. I had no way to wash off the soap. I used some hair gel to cover up the mess. But the hair gel mixed with the soap and gave off a bad smell.

If it's not clear from the context that you're talking about a tap, you could say: the water from the tap slowed to...
