put together/ course packs

Hi,

"would it be possible to have these copies stapled and collated by this afternoon?
-yes, if jerry can fix the machine this morning.
Oh I hope so. We are putting together two hundred course packs for the sales seminar tonight".

I would like to know what put together and course packs mean, could you tell me what they mean using other words, please?

Someone is making a booklet to give to students. The pages are being copied on a copying machine. After the pages are ready, they must be put in order (collated) and then stapled together (use a staple machine to make a book)

The information in the book will be a list of all the courses available at the school and some other information. This booklet is called a "course pack."

You have in front of you on the table the following, all in separate piles:

Information on the seminar
Information on the company
Sales figures
Notebooks.
Folders

Each person coming to the seminar needs one copy of each item.

You put all these items together into the folders, one of which will go to each person coming to the seminar.
