Don't be too hard on the writers of the magazine. The English is not that bad. I mean, it might not be perfect but I've seen a lot worse.

Anyway, they have replied that those English teachers were wrong!! Not all native English teachers are necessarily good and perfect. They also said that the way we wrote was good and all of what you have mentioned was not reasonable and acceptable !!! I have argued with them and tried to convinced them via chats and phone calls. I said that there are many English teachers here. Are all of them wrong?!!! They wouldn't accept their faults. I am really sorry for those people with their firm beliefs.

If they have a habit of doing it, then complain. Plenty of online native speaker publications make mistakes- people are publishing fast and things don't always get checked carefully in the race to be online.
