que puedo usar en vez de "are expected"

I would like to know what verb or expression may I use instead of "are or is expected"

For example in this sentence: Prices are expected to increase mainly due to high raw materials costs.

I don´t want to use "planned" because it has no the same meaning.

You're right to say that "planned" has a different meaning.

One possibility would be:

1. It is anticipated that prices will increase...

Some speakers dislike the use of "anticipate" as an approximate synonym for "expect"; but it is common in ordinary usage.

Why don't you want to use "expect", by the way?

thanks a lot for your answer. It´s useful although expected and anticipated have no exactly the same meaning.
I use expected. my problem is that I make reports on market and prices so I need another way to say what i expect to happen in the market. in prices. etc without using the word expect

I can't think of an alternative, unfortunately – and in the context you describe, options such as "It is likely that prices will rise..." or "Prices will probably rise..." might give the wrong impression.

So perhaps it's best to stick with dull-but-safe "expect"!
