hi,

how do you say the airplane/train ticket that takes you to your destination?

what about the ticket that brings you back?

"departing/return ticket"?

thanks,
jc

A one-way ticket OR a single ticket.

A round-trip ticket OR a return ticket.

thanks.

in this situation I have both tickets.

if the one that brings me back has a general qualification ("return"), isn't there a
general qualification for the ticket that takes me to my destination as well?

a "one-way ticket" or "single ticket" can be used if I have both tickets?

thanks again,
JC

A return ticket covers both your outward journey and your homeward journey.

A single ticket is only for one journey.
