Could you please explain what is the meaning of this sentence-

"You were like so".

You haven't given a context, but the expression is so common I can take a stab.
Of two people madly in love, the expression is, "They are like that/so." This may or may not be said with the third finger crossed over the second, indicating that the 'like so' refers to and indicates how close and intertwined as the two fingers the two love-birds are.
It would seem that in your case, the love match is over, so it's said in the past tense, "You were like so."
