I am writing a paper where I need to use a primary source that is quoted in a secondary source. For example, in the book I am reading it says person X said "Y". I am quoting "Y" in my paper and I do not have access to the primary document where "Y" was said. How do I cite this, preferably in Chicago Style? Thanks in advance.
