Question: A boy who roams with girls is called as Playboy - Is that right?

Grammatically, "flirt" is perfect. Though I wonder if there is a better word. Not all flirtatious boys are playboys.

Yes - 'playboy' has a wider meaning than that.


  • a man, esp one of private means, who devotes himself to the pleasures of nightclubs, expensive holiday resorts, female company, etc

I googled it and apparently the word "playboy" meant boy actor (play+boy) in the 17th or 18th century. Of course, Hugh Hefner made it so famous in the 20th century.
