There's a popular song by Timbaland right now called "The way I are." It's an artistic phrase that isn't proper English. That song is the only place I've ever heard it. In the song, it means "Can you handle me the way I am?" He's asking whether she can accept him without the money and the car and the other things he mentions earlier in the song.
