can anyone tell me what 'Lexis' means? as well as a few examples?

Click to expand... It is possible for linguists, like anyone else, to use special lexis unnecessarily, or to descend into a kind of jargon. What you are certainly going to find on this forum is a very high level of specific lexis These examples I could think of.;-)
