In a cooking program, the chef says he's going to make "raspberry royal",

whic is champagne with a little framboise and may be raspberry"

So now, I dont' understand what is the difference between "framboise" and "raspberry"
First, I thought she said "or" as a kind of explanation bec the first is French and the second of English, but she said "and may be..."

Can you please, tell me the difference?

Thanks a lot.

Framboise is French for Raspberry - they are the same fruit. I do not know this recipe, but she possibly uses raspberry puree mixed with champagne, and adds the berries as well.

Excuse me, can she mean that she's add the beer "Framboise" to the champagne and then add one raspberry fuit in the glass? Can this go please?

Thanks.

Possibly but unlikely. Beer and Champagne [apart from Guniness] do not mix well and can cause digestive problems. I think it is far more likely that she is adding berries to make the dish look pretty.
