Here is a sentence.
" Sometimes she read to me while she sat churning, and the churning sobbed along with any story."
1. why "sobbed"? Does it have any special meaning here?
2. Should we read here "sobbed along" or "along with"?
3. Please paraphrase the second half of the sentence.
