Hi,

What could be the best strategy to work on reading texts for advanced courses? After brainwaving, should they silently work on the texts, or should the text be read aloud by Ss in turn? In the case they read the text individually, how should the way they use reading skills be observed? Many thanks in advance...

(Is there any site where I can get some task-based activities for advanced classes?...Ta!)

I've never been a fan of reading aloud- no one listens much, it can distract from reading, the person reading doesn't absorb any of the text because they're concentrating on the sounds and the stress and intonation are often artificial.
