adrenalinman, please edit your post to add a punctuation mark at the end of every sentence - a practice which I hope you insist on with your students.

In addition to those comments above, "discuss about the key points ..." is not correct.:cry:

If I had to, I'd use "The reason for which ..."

(Rover asked you to do something very important in his post #3.)

Yes and yes, but again, The reason why we have come together is... sounds even better and The reason for coming together is... sounds better still.
